Prolactins: Novel Regulators of Angiogenesis

Prolactin, the hormone originally associated with the secretion of milk, is known to represent a family of proteins with a striking variety of actions beyond the scope of reproduction. Current studies have further extended their area of influence by revealing that members of the prolactin family may act as regulators of angiogenesis.
