J Butler

Vital for lung defense against noxious conditions of inhaled air, tiny bronchial circulation nourishes and helps regulate fluuid exchange of all its tissues except the alveoli. It is in complete contrast to pulmonary circulation in its ability to hypertrophy and its responses to inflammatory mediators, hypoxia, hypercarbia, and temperature changes.
