Aldosterone-Sensitive Cells in the Kidney: New Insights

JP Bonvalet

Immunodetection of aldosterone receptors with a monoclonal antibody, associated with an enzyme-mediated mechanism of tissue specificity for aldosterone, allows a better definition of localization of aldosterone-sensitive cells in the kidney. In turn, this localization raises the possibility of glucocorticoid action in aldosterone-sensitve cells.
