Atrial Natriuretic Factor in Experimental and Human Hypertension

Because of its powerful natriuretic and vasorelaxant activities, as well as its effect on several systems involved in blood pressure homeostasis, the role of atrial natriuretic factor as a causal or regulatory peptide in hypertension has been investigated extensively, but still remains to be elucidated.
